A supportive care team in Swansea is seeking an energetic female Personal Assistant to support a young girl with ASD. Responsibilities include driving her to parks, playing games, and ensuring her safety. The ideal candidate is patient, fun, and adaptable. A DBS check is required and will be funded by the council. The position offers £12.75 per hour, requiring 4 hours during term time and 8 hours during holidays.
A little about myself:
I am a young girl living in Manselton. I have ASD I am very fast and busy. I do not understand the danger of roads, strangers, and surroundings. I do not like built up and loud areas this can make become upset and throw myself to the floor and cry uncontrollably. I will need a PA who is energetic, patient, and fun. I love to tell stories play games and visit parks that have open areas. I am polite and loving and have a great fun energetic personality.
Driver required to take me out.
Female preferred.
Hours of work
4 hours term time plus 5 miles
8 hours during holidays 10 miles
Rate of pay.
£12.75

Concerning the position
A trial period will be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six-month probationary period. Salary will be paid monthly (Annual leave is calculated on a pro rata basis). A DBS MUST be processed prior to any commencement of employment. Costs of DBS will be met by Swansea council where applicant is eligible.
