Job description

We are looking for an experience Social Account Manager who is bursting with ideas and can combine brilliant client servicing skills with hands-on delivery of organic and paid social for some of the UK’s biggest brands.

As we form the right team to do that, we want an experienced Social Account Manager who is bursting with ideas and can combine brilliant client servicing skills with hands-on delivery of organic and paid social for some of the UK’s biggest brands.

Based in London, you’ll work at the heart of our social and content team, and in an integrated way with our PR specialists to bring client products and brands to life. This role reports to the Director of Social & Content.

You’ll have a keen eye for detail, a love for creative content, and the confidence and experience to manage a range of social campaigns, day-to-day. It’s a role in which your creativity can flourish and take form with both freedom and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver creative and engaging social media content ideas.Creating content calendars, copywriting, curating content and working with creative teams to produce engaging content across multiple social platforms.
  • Manage the day-to-day handling of client channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube, adapting content to suit different channels and audiences and ensuring activity is delivered within budget and on time.
  • Oversee, plan and distribute content across different platforms using scheduling and management tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social and Later.
  • Deliver paid social planning and forecasting, setting up and managing social ad campaigns, monitoring, optimising and reporting on paid activity – primarily using Meta Ads Manager and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
  • Form key relationships with influencers and content creators.
  • Manage and grow social communities for brands and campaigns with proactive and engaging community management.
  • Monitor, track, analyse and report on social performance and its role in audience/customer journeys using tools such as Google Analytics, Meltwater, Meta Business Suite and other platform analytics.
  • Manage, motivate and coach junior staff.
  • Grow and develop client relationships – regularly liaising with them to seek to grow existing clients and develop the account remit.
  • Have the ability to present work clearly and logically to clients, finalising campaigns based on feedback.
  • Proactively own and drive projects with focus, pace and a positive attitude to find solutions.
  • Have an active interest in new social trends, learning new skills and sharing ideas.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years minimum professional agency experience in digital / social content.
  • Excellent copywriting skills and a strong eye for visual assets that pop in social feeds.
  • Demonstrable experience planning, setting up and managing paid social activity for brands.
  • Experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Later, etc.
  • Comfortable gathering and working with data from Meta Business Suite/Creator Studio, LinkedIn Page Insights, Twitter Analytics, Google Analytics and data/reports from various in-platform Ads Managers.
  • Working knowledge of social listening tools such as Brandwatch, Meltwater Social, Pulsar or similar.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organised with the ability to manage own time on multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Exceptional overall communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ambitious in setting and achieving goals.
  • Flexible and adaptable – able to keep up with changes to social platforms, client priorities and external events that impact campaign execution.
  • Be able to work from our London office 2 days a week.
  • Legally able to work in the UK.
