Are you an experienced SOC Analyst looking for that next step, but not quite ready for a full Team Lead role?
I'm looking for a SOC Analyst with commercial experience who is ready to take on more responsibility within an established SOC. The role sits between L1 and L2 (think of it as an L1.5 role ) and a genuine stepping stone into leadership.
You’ll still be predominantly hands‑on, triaging and investigating security incidents, but you’ll also take responsibility for a small shift of around three SOC Analysts. You’ll act as their escalation point, monitor SLAs, QA tickets, lead shift handovers and help coach and mentor the team.
Shift pattern is 4 on / 4 off – 7am to 7pm, with office attendance required in Leeds when your day shift falls on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday, the rest remote.
There is a clear progression route through the SOC SOC Analyst Shift Lead L2/Senior SOC Analyst Team Lead
If you're already the person other analysts come to for help, mentoring newer team members or taking ownership when things get difficult, this could be a great opportunity to formalise that experience and take the next step in your career
