Job summary

Cyber Security training courses in London seeks a hands-on SOC Analyst to support our cybersecurity function, focusing on securing and administering Microsoft 365 environments in a hybrid London setting. The role requires strong experience with SIEM platforms, Azure IAM and cloud security across SaaS, PaaS and IaaS, plus the ability to explain complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Initial contract is six months with market rate inside IR35.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial experience as a SOC/Cyber Security Analyst.
• Hands-on with SIEM platforms (Defender, Splunk, QRadar, CrowdStrike, LogRhythm).
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Intune, IAM security.
• Knowledge of network security, firewalls and encryption.
• Experience with Cloud Security across SaaS, PaaS, IaaS.
• Strong incident investigation and vulnerability management skills.

A client of mine is looking for a hands-on SOC Analyst / Cyber Security Analyst to support their cybersecurity function. The right candidate will have strong experience administering and securing Microsoft 365 environments.

Key Requirements

• Proven commercial experience as a SOC / Cyber Security Analyst, within a large enterprise environment.
  Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms including Microsoft Defender, Splunk, QRadar, CrowdStrike, or LogRhythm.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune, and Identity & Access Management (IAM) security.
• Knowledge of network security, including protocols, encryption, firewalls, and security solutions such as Tanium.
• Experience managing and administering IAM and Directory services.
• Knowledge of current cyber security threats, vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and security frameworks.
• Experience with Cloud Security across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS platforms.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability management, threat actors, attack methodologies, infection vectors, and incident investigation.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Flexibility to go on-site in London
