client/child:

Noah, aged 11, lives with his two little brothers, one little sister, and supportive parents. When you meet Noah, you'll be greeted with a cheeky smile and his bright personality. He is very sociable, loves to laugh, and is fun to be around. Noah can sometimes be stubborn and has limited expressive language, which can lead to frustration when he's trying to communicate or doesn’t want to do something. He enjoys outdoor activities, including visiting local clubs and engaging in hobbies at home like baking or playing in the garden with his swing and trampoline.

He has Cerebral Palsy affecting all four limbs, is a full-time wheelchair user, and needs personal care. Noah has epilepsy, which is well-controlled, and his nutrition is mainly via a PEG with a blended diet—he loves food. At school, he uses an Eye Gaze system, which is being introduced at home. Noah can communicate his needs through the word ‘yeah’ or by physically pushing things or people away.

Overview of role:
This is a 2-1 support role, emphasizing teamwork. The morning shift starts early to assist Noah with waking up and getting ready for school. His home features a fully adapted bedroom, bathroom, therapy room, and a support area on the ground floor. School transport picks him up in the morning. During weekends and school holidays, the family plans fun-filled activities. This is a bank role with shifts during term time on Wednesdays and Fridays mornings, and alternate Saturday afternoons. During school holidays, shifts include Monday, Thursday, and Friday from morning to evening.

Who this job would suit:
Applicants should bring energy and enthusiasm. Noah is an ordinary 11-year-old who enjoys relaxing in front of the TV but also loves exciting outings. He forms strong bonds with trusted caregivers. Continuity of care is crucial, so applicants should consider their ability to commit long-term, despite the bank nature of the role.

What’s great about this job:
You will be part of a dedicated team with ongoing support from colleagues, Noah’s case manager, and his family. The onboarding process is comprehensive. This role offers consistent shifts for those seeking bank hours but also values stability and long-term relationships. If you want to make a meaningful difference in Noah’s life, we encourage you to apply.

Who is recruiting for this role? The client will handle all recruitment aspects and will contact you directly if interested. By applying, you agree to the client accessing your CV.
