Day Rate: DOE

Description:

Utilize advanced legal expertise, including knowledge of various environmental regimes and strategic objectives, to provide specialised legal advice and support to client staff on specific legal areas affecting the client.

Offer legal guidance on complex issues to assist the client in engaging with the Scottish Government on developing new corporate legislation or policies, or modifying existing ones.

Provide specialised legal advice on the implementation of new corporate legislation.

Deliver expert legal advice across various civil and corporate law areas.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Scottish Qualified Solicitor with current practicing certificate
• LLB Degree and Diploma in Legal Practice or equivalent
• Specialist knowledge in legislation interpretation and application
• Negotiation, influencing, and persuasion skills
• Creativity in developing innovative, problem-solving solutions
• Excellent written communication skills for complex and sensitive documents
• Ability to explain legal requirements to non-legal staff
• Advocacy skills

Desirable:

• General understanding of objectives and procedures
• Managerial experience
