Job description

This is a fixed-term position for a 6-month duration, working 21 hours a week.

Swansea Law Clinic, based within the Hillary Rodham Clinton School of Law at Swansea University, is seeking to appoint a Senior Project Administrator to join our team working on the Swansea Neath Port Talbot Community Advice Network (SNPTCAN) Project. Home | Swansea Neath Port Talbot

The Swansea Neath Port Talbot Community Advice Network (SNPTCAN) is a referral system modeled on Norfolk Community Advice Network (https://ncan.co.uk) and Tower Hamlets Community Advice Network (https://thcan.org.uk). The system was established in collaboration with The Children’s Society’s Coordinated Community Support Programme.

Each area has implemented the same online referral system, which has been established in Swansea Neath Port Talbot and Carmarthenshire. The system is well embedded in the community, with over 100 diverse organizations—including schools, advice providers, third sector organizations, local authority teams, and housing associations—signed up to the system and referring clients to one another. We have secured funding from The National Lottery Community Fund to continue building on the system’s success.

The post-holder will provide administrative support to deliver the project, facilitating communication among advice and support agencies in Swansea Neath Port Talbot and Carmarthenshire through the online referral system. The aim is to improve coordination among advice organizations by enabling better referral pathways for clients and service users.

The post-holder will primarily work with Swansea Law Clinic staff and partner organizations using the system, as well as other stakeholders in the area. They will also contribute to the network of other regions using the system, including Norfolk and Tower Hamlets.
