Job summary

Aviva is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer Lead with strong Snowflake expertise to drive data ingestion, modelling and warehousing. You will shape data solutions and lead teams across the data engineering discipline in a cutting-edge environment.

You’ll work within Aviva Quantum, contributing to predictive analytics and data science initiatives while mentoring juniors and partnering with business stakeholders to realise real value.

Qualifications

• Experienced data engineering leader delivering data solutions with a strong working knowledge of DataOps and CI/CD best practices.
• Experience building data using Snowflake.
• DBT Cloud within data vaults or dimensional models.
• Strong SQL and Python background enabling you to lead and develop our most sophisticated work.
• Experience of working with and leading a team using Agile delivery methodology.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with business stakeholders.
