Job summary

Computacenter is seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong Snowflake expertise to design scalable cloud data platforms for enterprise customers. You will work within the GPS team delivering data solutions across customer projects, taking ownership of Snowflake design and optimization.

The role emphasizes ETL development with Python, data modelling, and DevOps practices, collaborating with stakeholders, and aligning with Agile delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and implementing Snowflake data warehouse solutions.
• Strong SQL/T-SQL and data modelling skills.
• Experience with Python and ETL development.
• Knowledge of Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience working within Agile environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Terraform, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and optimise Snowflake data warehouse solutions
• Develop scalable ETL pipelines and data models
• Integrate Snowflake with Azure and AWS
• Optimise data performance, quality and security
• Collaborate with customers and project teams to deliver high-quality solutions
