Due to consistent growth and expansion, a unique opportunity has emerged for an ambitious procurement professional to join a hyper-growth, multi-billion pound Food & Beverages / FMCG firm. They seek a Snacks & Confectionary Procurement Manager to develop and execute category strategies, focusing on impulse-related spend to deliver value, cost savings, sustainability, supply chain risk mitigation, and category growth and innovation.

Ideal candidates will have strong buying, procurement, or category management experience, with negotiation experience with major suppliers like Mondelez, Mars Wrigley, Nestle, KP Snacks, Pladis Global, PepsiCo, Kellanova, General Mills, or Ferrero. Key Responsibilities:

• Create category strategies and growth plans by identifying market opportunities to develop the company's offerings and margins.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to deliver cost savings, innovation, and growth in confectionery and snacks spend.
• Manage performance, accounts, and contracts with suppliers to maximize savings and client retention.

Required Experience:

• Strong commercial acumen and end-to-end procurement experience within Food & Beverages categories in Foodservice, Hospitality, FMCG, Wholesale, or Contract Catering industries.
• Experience in category management or account management.
• Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and suppliers to drive category strategies.
