Job description

SMT Technician

SMT Technician to carry out manufacturing process steps for the assembly of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) and assemble products to agreed quality levels to meet customer expectations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Set up and run SMT lines to specified efficiency and process quality levels.
• Ensure the product meets IPC 610 standards to the specified class.
• Input and prepare process control documentation, including first-off inspection.
• Work closely with the Engineering team and other technicians to support fault-finding and innovative solutions.
• Familiarize with department output production targets.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and update databases to meet quality management system requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant procedures applicable to the manufacturing process.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and product quality, minimizing scrap and rework outside of the design specifications.
