SMT Programmer Skills

Essential:

• Previous experience in a production role

• Programming experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)

• A hands-on approach with a proactive and personable attitude

Desirable:

• Background in engineering, ideally electronics manufacturing

• SMT Programming experience

• Strong written and spoken English

Key Responsibilities of the SMT Programmer Role

• Develop and deliver efficient surface mount programs

• Modify and optimize existing programs for improved runtime and quality

• Provide clear setup instructions to the surface mount team

• Ensure precise part number and placement profile correlation
