Job Summary

This role is part of our Saab Seaeye Business Unit.

The role will be tasked with helping to produce quality PCBs to production schedules/timescales and to help with general duties within the PCB area.

Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities

1. Experience in Pre-kitting of SMT machines
2. Ability to program and operate Stencil Printers
3. Proficient in load placement program and set value checks for SMT Lines (ESSEMTEC experience an advantage, but not essential)
4. Ability to create/adjust component package checks for SMT Lines (ESSEMTEC experience an advantage, but not essential)
5. Carrying out maintenance on the SMT line as required
6. Control of solder paste
7. Supporting Production Engineering with all new SMT build programs
8. To produce PCBs in accordance with the production schedule as issued by the PCB Production Supervisor using Equipment provided, i.e., Microscope or pick and place machine.
9. To produce PCBs to the required standard as set by the quality control department.
10. To communicate and highlight B.O.M or kitting errors to the PCB Production Supervisor.
11. To report any build/design faults to the PCB Production Supervisor.
12. To ensure all build information is correct and identify any changes as required.
13. To provide support and ideas in maintaining and implementing lean manufacturing.
14. To use personal judgement and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles in day-to-day activities and procedures within your specified role.
15. To maintain personal ability in, and appropriate use of, all relevant IT (Information & Technology) and other systems required to adequately perform the role.
16. Act ethically, with integrity and in the best interest of the business at all times.
17. To maintain a professional and supportive relationship with team members and other departments in order to deliver business and delivery objectives or deadlines.
18. To carry out any other duties as detailed by the PCB Production Supervisor or his authorized representative.

4. To maintain a professional and supportive relationship with team members and other departments in order to deliver business objectives or deadlines.
5. To carry out any other duties as detailed by a member of the management team or authorized representative.
6. To keep good time management to minimize any wasted time and maximize productivity and effectiveness.

Key Requirements

1. Previous experience of producing/working with PCBs.
2. Qualification in Electronics or Electrical field.
