SMT Operator

Our client is a leading provider of electronic design and assembly services. We work with our customers throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial design and prototyping to volume manufacturing, ongoing service, maintenance, and repair.

Position: SMT Operator

Based within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, the successful applicant will have previous experience in producing high-complexity assemblies using Juki and/or Europlacer machines.

Responsibilities include:
  1. The production of high-complexity assemblies using Juki and Europlacer machines.
  2. Kitting and de-kitting of surface mount machines.
  3. Machine operation and programming.
  4. Manual insertion of components.
  5. In-process quality inspection.

Previous experience with all SMT assembly processes and knowledge of IPC-610 quality standards would be advantageous.

Benefits and Working Conditions:
  • 20 days holiday plus an additional day for each complete year of service, up to a maximum of 24 days, plus paid bank holidays.
  • 5% employer and 4% employee pension scheme.
  • Free parking.
  • 4-day working week: Monday - Thursday, 7am to 5pm.
