Job description

Holt Engineering is working with a leading electronics manufacturer based in Fareham.

They are looking for an SMT Machine Operator to join a strong team and support the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities for the SMT Machine Operator:

1. Prepare and load components onto SMT machines
2. Work from diagrams and lists
3. Maintain documents accurately to ensure quality
4. Advise management of any issues
5. Follow health and safety requirements

Requirements for the SMT Machine Operator:

• Knowledge of IPC 610/J-STD-001 (Preferred)
• Ability to understand complex drawings and diagrams
• Ability to work under pressure
• PC/IT literate, comfortable using tablets and PCs
• Good verbal and written communication skills

This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, with an early finish at 12 pm on Fridays.
