Smoke Ventilation Project Engineer (Foot Mobile) – Up to £45,000 – East London

RGB Network is currently representing a well-established Fire & Security company looking for a Smoke Ventilation Project Engineer to cover East London. The role involves installation, maintenance, and inspection of smoke ventilation systems across various commercial sites, ensuring systems are functional, compliant, and meet safety standards.

Package:
• Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience)
• 21 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
• Company phone, laptop, and tools provided
• Overtime available
• Ongoing training and development

Area of Cover:
• East London

Main Duties:
• Work with the service team to complete planned maintenance visits
• Install AOV and smoke ventilation systems, coordinating with site teams and following designs
• Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to verify system performance
• Provide reports, findings, and recommend repairs or upgrades
• Complete reactive repairs and support fault finding
• Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and standards
• Advise clients and site teams on compliance issues
• Deliver basic training on system operations and emergency procedures

Requirements:
• Experience with smoke ventilation systems
• Knowledge of UK fire safety codes and standards
• Fault-finding skills and ability to read electrical schematics
• Comfortable working at height
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Industry certifications in AOV systems and smoke control (preferred but not essential)
