SME New Business / Trainee Account Executive – Leeds City Centre

This independent commercial insurance brokerage has been a real success story in the Leeds area over the last few years. They have gone from strength to strength, growing organically, whilst achieving a low staff turnover and high level of client retention.

Based in Leeds City centre and with plenty of parking, this business is headed up by a very popular and well respected MD, well known for treating his team fairly and providing lots of opportunities to develop your career whilst operating a professional, flexible and enjoyable working environment.

At present, they have a job opening available within the new business team, dealing with a wide variety of SME oriented client enquiries (mainly incoming warm leads). This would generally be premiums of up to £10k per annum and across of wide range of commercial insurances.

As a desk based “Account Executive, your team will be the focal point for all new business enquiries, chatting to clients, taking risk details, going to market to identify the best covers / deals and ultimately placing the client on cover.

This would be an ideal role for somebody with at least 12 months commercial insurance experience, who enjoys a busy and vibrant working environment with lots of communication with clients and insurers.

Longer-term, the options are open, depending on which direction you want to go in. You could progress towards a full client facing account executive positon, or you might prefer to go down a technical broking or management route.
