SME Desk Based Account Executive – South Leeds

Our client is a fantastic commercial insurance brokerage, led by a highly respected regional MD, who is supportive, dynamic and committed to creating a workplace, which is flexible and with an emphasis on work life balance. They currently work on a 3 days in the office and 2 days from home basis, and are conveniently located with plenty of parking.

In this role you will be focusing mainly on SME insurances, commercial clients with premium spends up to £10k per annum, so ideally, you will have previous commercial insurance experience. You will be providing a full broking service to existing clients, making amendments on existing policies, marketing and negotiating renewals and will be providing quotations on new enquiries.

This is a busy role, with quite a bit of volume, ideally suited to someone who enjoys speaking to lots of different clients on a daily basis. You will be a strong communicator, with great organisational skills and enjoy being busy.

It is anticipated that as your client portfolio grows, and there becomes a need for additional people, this role will become more management oriented, allowing you to build your own SME team. If you have a desire to go down the management route, this could be an ideal opportunity for you.

Applicants will have at least 2 years previous commercial insurance experience, ideally SME commercial and with previous use of Acturis system (although system training can be provided). Progress towards CII qualification will be fully supported.

This role comes with an excellent basic salary, circa £35k, although there is flexibility depending on your experience. You will be provided with a comprehensive benefits package.
