Job summary

Jobtailor is hiring an experienced Account Manager to lead a SME portfolio across Group Risk and Group Healthcare in London. You will drive client outcomes through proactive account management, renewal consulting, and rate reviews while coordinating with internal teams to shape solutions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with admin/support teams to ensure service standards and timely query resolution.
• Drive retention and new business income targets and identify cross-sell/up-sell opportunities.
• Collaborate with Insurance Broking and Employee Benefits teams to shape client solutions.
• Conduct peer reviews and ensure quality control and regulatory compliance.

• Manage and grow an SME portfolio across Group Risk (Life, IP, CI) up to 30 lives and Group Healthcare (PMI, Dental, Health Cash Plans) up to 10 lives
• Deliver excellent customer outcomes through proactive account management, renewal consulting, and rate reviews
• Build relationships with clients and providers via telephone, MS Teams, and in-person meetings
• Prepare and deliver employee communications and presentations
• Coordinate with admin/support teams to ensure service standards, smooth workflows, and timely query resolution
• Drive retention and new business income targets
• Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
• Collaborate with Insurance Broking and Employee Benefits teams to shape client solutions
• Conduct peer reviews and ensure work is reviewed where needed
• Adhere to PIB's Code of Conduct and uphold high standards of propriety

Requirements

• A Group Risk background is essential
• Knowledge and experience within Group Healthcare products is a distinct advantage

• Strong consulting skills
