SME Commercial Insurance Broker / Flexible working

Our client is a highly respected independent insurance brokerage; a business that boasts a very low staff turnover and enviable long-term client retention. Due to growth, primarily a result of their fine market reputation, the need has arisen to appoint an additional two “Commercial Brokers / Account Handlers” to the SME team.

This role will require you to manage your own clients as well as assisting the Account Executives with larger cases. You will mainly be dealing with commercial clients with annual premium spends up to circa £10k, providing quotations, making amendments to existing policies, marketing and negotiating renewals etc.

Ideal applicants will have a good commercial insurance knowledge, be very client focused with great attention to detail. It is essential that you be a “team player” with a natural instinct to provide exceptional customer service.

Our client is very focused on employee “wellbeing” and is therefore able to provide a professional, enjoyable and flexible working environment with the opportunity to work on a part home / part office basis.

Applicants will have at least 2 years commercial insurance experience and ideally have previously used Acturis system (although full system training can be provided).

This roles comes with a basic salary of up to £33k and with a comprehensive benefits package includes a generous holiday allowance and a high pension contribution.
