Job description

Opportunity to join a high quality commercial insurance brokerage based in the North Leeds area. We have worked with this excellent business for many years and the feedback from candidates has always been extremely positive, both in terms of job satisfaction and genuine career progression.

Due to growth there is currently a need for additional brokers / account handlers to join the SME team; this team deals specifically with smaller commercial clients with annual premiums spends of up to £10k per annum, this could be anything from shops, offices and package policies to commercial combined and motor fleet.

In this role you will deal with some new business enquiries, but mainly focus on existing business, making amendments to polices, marketing and negotiating renewals etc. using Acturis system. There will be a lot of daily contact with clients and insurers.

Ideal applicants will have at least 12 months commercial insurance experience; this could be from a broker or an insurer background. Progress towards CII studies would be beneficial and will be fully supported.

This role comes with a salary of up to £32k + a comprehensive benefits package.
