Job description

Our client is an ambitious commercial insurance brokerage with numerous offices across North and West Yorkshire. They are currently experiencing an exciting period of growth and have created numerous fantastic new job opportunities.

Due to this growth, they are receiving a large influx of new business opportunities on the SME side, generally premium spends up to £5k per annum, coming from various sources, referrals, client recommendations, general new business generation activity and agreed distribution channels.

Due to this increase in activity, our client is keen to appoint an ambitious individual who enjoys speaking to lots of clients, who likes to be involved in new business quoting and winning new clients. You will be joining a fantastic team, headed up by a highly respected and supportive Branch Director.

Ideal applicants will have at least 2 years commercial insurance experience; we are happy to hear from sales executives, commercial brokers, account handlers or underwriters. There will be lots of support and training available to the correct individual and CII qualifications will be fully funded.

You will be provided with an excellent basic salary of up to circa £40k + full benefits and bonus scheme, which has been creating monthly commission of between £500 and £1500.

This role comes with genuine long-term career progression and the opportunity to work towards a client facing account executive position.

Although primarily office based, there is flexibility to work partly from home, currently 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.
