Job summary

Kentec Electronics Ltd in Dartford, Kent, is looking for a Surface Mount Machine Operator to join the SMT line and help run automated and manual assembly processes.

Hours are Monday-Friday 14:00-22:00. The role offers extensive benefits and ongoing training, with a focus on safety, quality, and team collaboration within a global manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Full training will be provided where needed.
• Experience on SMT, Europlacer pick and place equipment would be an advantage.
• Working to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to follow instructions and read diagrams.
• Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for both automated and manual surface mount manufacturing.
• Responsible for set-up, operation, and adjustment of SMT Printers, Pick and Place Machines, Ovens, AOI equipment.
• Monitor and maintain equipment to meet company standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Maintain all housekeeping/safety regulations including the handling of hazardous materials.

We are looking to recruit a Surface Mount Machine Operator to join our department and assist in running our Surface Mount Line.
