Position Summary

Why join our team?

This role will be responsible for acquiring new SMB (50-250 employees) business accounts for Samsung’s direct sales channel smb.com. Reporting to the MX B2B Director, the successful candidate will deliver new direct business to Samsung through the SMB market. This includes new business customers identified by the SMB call centre and business website, as well as acquiring new customers via new channels. The focus will be on Samsung’s core mobile portfolio of smartphones, tablets, PCs, and wearables. The role also supports business conferences and partnerships across Samsung UK to engage potential SMB.com customers, especially for MX products.

Role And Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities
  1. Promote and sell Samsung portfolio to new end users.
  2. Engage with SMB customers across South England through visits, calls, and emails.
  3. Identify and fulfill customer requirements using a structured sales process.
  4. Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities to drive revenue.
  5. Build relationships across Samsung divisions to support customer acquisition and growth.
  6. Educate end users on Samsung processes, portals, and products.
  7. Record deal information and update systems throughout the sales cycle.
  8. Achieve and exceed sales targets.
  9. Communicate regularly with customers to progress Samsung business.
  10. Participate in team checkpoints.
  11. Liaise with finance and marketing to ensure compliance.
  12. Engage customers through Samsung events and enablement sessions.
  13. Update forecasts and data accurately using Salesforce, Excel, and GSCM.
  14. Gather share of wallet data from UK end users.
  15. Work independently within Samsung UK’s indirect reporting lines.
  16. Increase share in dedicated accounts.
  17. Represent Samsung at trade fairs to boost visibility and generate leads.
  18. Perform additional duties as required.
What We Need For This Role

Skills and attributes include:

  • Strong sales background with proven results in acquiring and growing business customers.
  • Ability to significantly increase revenue/units within end customers.
  • Self-starter with the ability to generate opportunities from multiple sources.
  • Experience in IT technology and telecoms (preferred).
  • Experience with SMB customers.
  • Excellent communication skills across departments.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Accurate forecasting experience.
  • High attention to detail and financial planning skills.
  • Experience in bid management or pricing (advantageous).
  • Experience with SFDC (advantageous).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hybrid work setup in Chertsey and across South UK.
What does success look like?

The main goal is to manage Samsung’s growth in UK channels and end users by:

  • Collaborating with end users, channel, supply chain, and product management for accurate forecasting.
  • Being a product champion for Samsung internally and externally.
  • Securing end user sales and new account registrations.
  • Achieving profitability through effective pricing, data analysis, and promotion.
  • Meeting sales targets and response SLAs.
  • Accurately tracking quotations in SFDC.
  • Providing insights from end users to Samsung UK.
  • Performing other duties as needed.
  • Demonstrating integrity and compliance with industry standards.
The interview process
  • Minimum two-stage interview, potentially three.
  • Stage one: Video competency interview with Samsung DTC team.
  • Stage two: Face-to-face interview in Chertsey with practical exercises.
  • Stage three: Meeting with Director of D2C Sales/Head of B2B Sales to discuss experience and plans.
