A well-established independent body repair centre in Newcastle is looking for a SMART Repairer / Paint Sprayer. The role offers a competitive salary of £43,680 and flexible shift patterns. You will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles to Manufacturer's specifications and performing cosmetic repairs. A recognized qualification in SMART repair and relevant experience in a busy bodyshop are required. The role provides an opportunity to work with top-notch equipment in a long-standing business.

Job description

SMART Repairer / Paint Sprayer required for our Client’s busy Independent Body Repair Centre located in Newcastle.

Working as a SMART Repairer / Paint Sprayer for our Client you can expect a salary of £43,680 with the working hours between 37 - 42 hour weeks with overtime available.

Duties:

- Repairing damaged vehicles in line with the Manufacturer’s specifications
- Carrying out Smart Repairs

- Perform minor cosmetic repairs on bumpers, panels and trims
- Following safety procedures
- Detecting and diagnosing any additional faults for further repair
- Interacting with colleagues and customers to discuss repair work carried out.

Requirements:

- You will have a recognised qualification in a SMART repair capacity
- You will have a previous working experience in the role within a busy bodyshop
- The ability to produce a high quality of SMART repair from start to finish.
- ATA qualification is desirable
