Lithia UK is seeking a SMART Repair Technician to join our busy SMART teams in the UK. You will carry out SMART repairs, cosmetic paint work, and wheel repairs to a high standard, with colour matching and polishing.

A full UK driving licence is essential, and learning is encouraged as part of our growth-focused environment. We welcome applicants with transferrable skills from valeting, detailing, or painting backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Experience in SMART or wheel repair is preferred but not essential.
• Willingness to learn industry standards and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Carry out SMART repair on a wide range of vehicles in the workshop.
• Perform cosmetic paint repairs to used-car prep standards.
• Mix and colour-match paints; ensure a high-quality finish.
• Keep up to date with SMART repair techniques and industry standards.
• Repair painted or diamond-cut wheels to a high finish; re-finish as needed.
• Support new-to-industry applicants and transfer skills where appropriate.
