Job summary

Motorclean Ltd is hiring a SMART Repair Technician for a busy car dealership in Sheffield. This self-employed role focuses on repairing vehicles to a high standard so they are resale-ready for customers.

Hours are Monday to Saturday 07:00-20:00 on a rota, with pay up to £1,000 per week paid per unit completed. You must have a full UK driving licence, right to work in the UK, and a valid UK bank account.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence required.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Valid personal UK bank account in your own name.
• Proven experience as a vehicle body paint sprayer.
• Strong dent repair and body preparation skills.
• Excellent paint spraying and finishing skills.
• High attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Practical skills assessment will be required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out SMART repairs to customers' specifications.
• Perform vehicle dent repairs to a high standard.
• Prepare vehicle panels for painting (sanding, filling, masking, priming).
• Perform colour matching and blending for seamless repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe working area and good housekeeping.
• Log all work onto the company In House system.
• Follow Health and Safety procedures at all times.

Job description

SMART REPAIR TECHNICIAN REQUIRED AT BUSY CAR DEALERSHIP IN SHEFFIELD.

Motorclean provide services to Car dealerships, Auctioneers and Rental companies across the UK. The purpose of this role is to repair vehicles to the highest quality to ensure they are ready for resale by our Customer.

Self Employed Role

Hours: Available hours between Monday to Saturday 07:00-20:00 (rota)

Pay: Earn up to £1,000 per week, paid per unit completed.

The Role

• Carry out SMART Repairs to Customers specifications
• Carry out vehicle dent repairs to a high standard using appropriate repair techniques.
• Work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
• Prepare vehicle panels and surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, masking and priming.
• Perform colour matching and blending to ensure seamless paint repairs.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy working area at all times.
• Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.
• Follow Health and Safety procedures at all times.
• Log all work completed onto the company In House system

Requirements

• Full Driving License
• Must have the Right to work in UK
• Must have Valid Personal UK Bank Account in your own name
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Body Paint Sprayer within an automotive bodyshop.
• Strong skills in vehicle dent repair and body preparation.
• Excellent paint spraying, colour matching, and finishing skills.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship
• A practical skills assessment will be required.
