Job summary

Lithia UK is recruiting a SMART Repair Technician in Derby to join our busy SMART team. You will carry out SMART repairs on a wide range of vehicles in our workshop, including cosmetic paint, colour matching, and wheel refinishing to a high standard.

We offer a competitive package with £50,000 per year, a permanent full-time contract, and 33 days holiday including bank holidays. A full UK driving licence is required, and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a SMART or Wheel Technician in automotive.
• New to industry applicants with transferrable skills (valeting, detailing or painting) welcome.
• A full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out all aspects of SMART repair to a wide range of vehicles in our workshop.
• Cosmetic paint repairs working to internal used car preparation standards.
• Mixing and colour matching, painting all repaired areas to a high standard, with a polished finish.
• Keeping up to date with industry standards of SMART repair techniques.
• Repairing painted or diamond cut wheels that have scrapes and scuffs back to a high standard of re-finish.
