I am working with an Accident Repair Centre near Eastbourne in East Sussex who are currently seeking a SMART Repair Technician.

Job Role – Smart Repair Paint Technician

Salary – Negotiable depending on experience

We are looking for a Smart Repair Technician with experience from various Bodyshop backgrounds who are all-rounders. You will be an essential part of our team as a Smart Repair Paint Technician, working on all types of vehicle makes in a modern, clean, and state-of-the-art workshop. Your role involves carrying out Smart repairs on cars and Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs).

Job responsibilities include:
  • Repairing and refurbishing vehicle damages such as scratches, scuffs, dents, windscreen chips, upholstery repairs, leather reconditioning and recolouring, and wheel refurbishments.
  • Cleaning and preparing vehicles for repairs.
  • Performing cosmetic paint touch-ups and local paintwork repairs.
  • Maintaining equipment regularly and reporting issues to the Bodyshop Manager.
About You:
  • Previous experience as a Smart Repairer within any type of bodyshop is required.
  • Body shop or equivalent experience.
  • Qualifications are advantageous.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and thrive in a busy bodyshop environment.
