Job summary

Command in Peterborough is seeking an experienced technician for SMART repair and bodyshop work. You will restore vehicles to a high standard, performing paint polishing, alloy refurbishment, scratch/dent repairs, interior, and upholstery work in a modern, well-equipped workshop.

The role offers a Monday to Friday schedule with no weekends, a competitive hourly rate with overtime potential, and clear progression within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in SMART repair, vehicle prep, paint or bodyshop environments.
• Strong eye for detail and pride in workmanship.
• Able to work in a professional workshop with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Carry out SMART and cosmetic repairs to restore vehicles.
• Paint polishing and refinishing.
• Alloy wheel refurbishment.
• Scratch and dent repairs.
• Minor paintwork corrections.

Salary: Up to £17.00 per hour (Day Shift DOE) | Up to £18.70 per hour (Back Shift DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday - No Weekends 40 Hours per week
