Where will you be working?

At M Group Energy, we're enabling the energy essential to support our lives. We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering, and home decarbonisation. This role is within our Metering team, the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, offering efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity, and water meters. Our meter readers install, maintain, and manage meters to ensure accurate billing and monitor energy usage patterns.

What will you be doing?

As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll visit various properties throughout the day, working on Smart Meters in homes and businesses. You'll use a handheld device to complete tasks and update records on your tablet. No previous technical qualifications are required! Your tasks will include reconnecting Gas and Electric Smart Meters, changing SIM cards, modems, and small gain aerials, re-joining smart devices to the network, exchanging batteries on gas meters, and completing site surveys.
