This role will be within our Metering team. You’ll join the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, providing efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity and water meters.
Our meter readers install, maintain and manage meters to ensure accurate billing and monitor energy usage patterns.
As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll visit properties, working on Smart Meters in homes and businesses. You’ll use a handheld device to complete tasks and update records on your tablet. No previous technical qualifications are required, and there’s no live electric work involved.
Your tasks will include reconnecting Gas and Electric Smart Meters, changing SIM cards, modems, aerials, re-joining devices to the network, and exchanging batteries on gas meters. You’ll also complete site surveys and support visits.

Qualifications like experience in meter reading or electrical knowledge are beneficial but not required.
