Job summary

Trend Building Management Systems is seeking a BMS/Controls Engineer skilled in Trend and Tridium Niagara Niagara to drive smarter building performance. The role focuses on analysing data, developing control strategies and commissioning plant, with access to the latest smart building technologies.

You will work on commercial offices, healthcare and other facilities, delivering energy optimisation while maintaining occupant comfort. Hybrid working and ongoing certification investment are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience with Trend BMS and Niagara Niagara systems.
• Strong understanding of HVAC plant and building services.
• Ability to diagnose faults and optimise energy use.
• Experience with BACnet, Modbus, MQTT or other open protocols.

Responsibilities

• Analyse building performance data to uncover energy savings.
• Redesign control strategies and commission plant.
• Integrate smart technologies and support Net Zero targets.
• Create intuitive graphics, dashboards and performance reporting.
• Diagnose BMS and control issues.
• Support customers with technical expertise and trusted advice.
• Deliver continuous improvement rather than reactive maintenance.
