Job summary

Unknown Company in East Midlands is seeking a Small Works Project Engineer to deliver site-based projects across UK renewable assets. You will take ownership from initial request to handover, scoping jobs, securing quotations, and forming cost estimates while coordinating with live plant operations and Site Managers.

The role requires hands-on engineering capability, strong communication, and willingness to travel between sites, with a focus on safety and delivering on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering small works on operational or industrial sites.
• Engineering degree, HNC or HND, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full UK Driving License and willingness to travel.
• Desirable: Working knowledge of CDM 2015.

Responsibilities

• Deliver small works projects from initial request through to handover on UK sites.
• Scope each job, gather quotations, and build cost estimates.
• Plan works around live plant operations with Site Managers.
• On-site supervision of contractors with emphasis on safety, quality and budget.
• Travel between locations as required.
