Location: Covering the Midlands (Coventry, Coalville, Kegworth, and Mansfield)

This role includes working occasionally on embedded sites which require 5:30am starts.

What is the role?

As an Engineer at Trinity, you will service and carry out small works on fire and security systems for our clients. You will complete scheduled work efficiently, adhering to Trinity’s high standards. You will work as part of a skilled team and will be supported by our wider support departments to ensure high-quality service and customer experience.

The key tasks include:

• Perform all necessary works at customer premises following the company’s quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers to ensure understanding of system and site status.
• Liaise with service administrators and internal teams to meet service commitments.
• Follow planned service and maintenance schedules, handle emergency call-outs, and issue remedial repairs and minor system modifications as needed.

What systems experience do you need?

Intruder - Galaxy, Texecom

Access Control - Paxton, Honeywell

What skills do you need?

• Experience installing and servicing fire, security, CCTV, and access control systems to British Standards.
• Ability to identify and test cables associated with fire detection and security systems, and terminate cables correctly.
• A logical approach to fault diagnosis and resolution.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

What technical knowledge do you need?

• Understanding of basic building services for fire alarm interfaces.
• Knowledge of causes and solutions for fire, intruder, CCTV, and access control issues, including how to reduce false alarms.
• Basic Electrical Safety training (ECA).
• Manufacturers training, especially with Notifier and Gent equipment.
