• Survey and inspect small and non-convention vessels to ensure compliance with UK and international standards.
• Issue certification and provide expert technical advice to vessel owners and stakeholders.
• Support consistent, high-quality survey and inspection services across MCA.
• Mentor/coach colleagues on MCA survey and inspection activities to ensure consistent implementation.
• Maintain training and competence records and participate in MCA peer review processes.
