Small Business Banker - Central Victoria (Bendigo/Shepparton)

In this Small Business Banker role, you will

• Undertake sales related requirements for a portfolio of Small Business Agri & Diversified customers.
• Build relationships with Business Partners to create and action new business opportunities and support our customers.
• Action and manage Salesforce opportunities & national leads.
• Undertake retention activities for existing customers.
• Perform credit analysis and approve requests for temporary excesses / increased limit requirements.
• Provide coaching, lead actions and role model great behaviours across the broader business.
• Manage lending and product requests for small business customers.
• Understand customers' business needs to provide holistic banking solutions.
• Be accountable for managing customer complaints and escalations until resolution.
• Coach and develop less experienced bankers within the team and developing associates.
• Drive customer portfolio risk and compliance.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (Retail, NAB Partners and other Business Partners).

What you’ll bring

• A genuine passion for customer service.
• A background in Agriculture or Agribusiness (preferred).
• Demonstrated experience in a lending role.
• Experience in managing customer relationships and the credit process.
• A strong financial/business acumen.
• Problem-solving, time management, critical thinking and negotiation skills.
