First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic business that is looking to recruit a Small Arms Supervisor on a permanent basis due to growth, located at their RAF Halton (Aylesbury) depot.

As a Small Arms Supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily management of the RAF Halton Armoury Small Arms maintenance. The Small Arms Supervisor shares responsibility with the OME Supervisor for the administration of the Armoury and Range personnel.

Day-to-day, you’ll manage the small arms maintenance bay, storage rooms, V & A areas, and oversee the maintenance, modification, and repair of all armaments equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain the RAF Halton armoury facility for Small Arms & associated equipment as the Senior Equipment Manager, including managing all section component reports for faults.
• Implement all regulations concerning documentation, storage, safety, issues/receipts, and maintenance of small arms (SA). Manage the storage, issue, and receipt of all weapons held in the Armoury.
• Be appointed as the Deputy Unit Range Safety Officer (URSO) for the RAF Halton ranges and assist the URSO in executing his duties.

Salary: £31,809 + excellent overtime opportunities
