Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon Position in Carlisle, Cumbria

Our client is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a supportive team at a 100% small animal, single-site practice.

About The Role:

  • This position is full-time, with part-time considered, offering an opportunity to work in a practice that values key clinical skills in primary care.
  • The practice is committed to providing excellent care to patients and clients through in-house healthcare plans covering routine and non-routine care.
  • The role includes a 1:4 out-of-hours rota, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule and proximity to the Lake District and Scottish borders

Candidate Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will have initial experience in practice and be compassionate, caring, and a good communicator.
  • The role requires a team player capable of making independent decisions when necessary.
  • The practice offers 15-minute appointments and is RCVS and Gold Compassionate Understood accredited, as well as a Gold Standard Cat Friendly Clinic.
