Job summary

Miramar Vets in Sheringham is seeking a patient and confident Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy practice with four vets and a supportive team. You’ll work across a varied caseload and have access to IDEXX facilities, ISFM Silver status, and a culture focused on care.

You’ll develop surgical skills within a collaborative environment, supported by colleagues and dedicated staff, with opportunities for professional growth and learning.

Qualifications

• RCVS-registered veterinary surgeon or eligible to register
• Experience in general practice with routine medical and surgical cases
• Strong communication with clients and colleagues
• Proactive, collaborative team player with a commitment to ongoing development

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality first opinion consultations with clear client communication
• Perform routine and emergency surgical procedures in theatre
• Work up medical cases with diagnostics and treatment planning
• Maintain accurate and thorough clinical records
• Collaborate with nursing team to ensure excellent patient care
• Support certificate study and professional development when possible
