Veterinary Surgeon – Surgical Interest

This 24-Hour hospital team is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for surgery to join a well-established and growing team. Located in a picturesque part of East Yorkshire, this hospital offers a modern and supportive environment for developing your clinical interests.

Whether you’re seeking a full-time or part-time position, they can discuss a working pattern that suits your lifestyle. You’ll be working alongside a committed team led by an experienced Lead Vet, with support from a Head Nurse, a group of skilled vets, registered veterinary nurses, student nurses, patient care assistants, client care assistants and administrative staff.

The hospital boasts extensive facilities, including three operating theatres with advanced surgical equipment, 24-hour hospitalisation, and dedicated dog, cat, exotic and isolation wards. They have a wide range of diagnostic tools including ultrasound, doppler, digital x-ray, CT, endoscopy, rhinoscopy, arthroscopy and diagnostic ECG.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is confident managing non-routine surgeries and keen to take the clinical lead in a surgical capacity. You will enjoy a varied caseload with a mix of first-opinion and referral work in a hospital setting that truly supports professional growth.
