Miramar Vets in Sheringham, East of England, is seeking a veterinary surgeon to join a supportive, patient‑focused team. The role offers a generous salary up to £75,000 DOE, with relocation allowance up to £5,000 and a welcome bonus up to £5,000.

The practice features four consulting rooms, in-house lab, ultrasound, X-ray, and IDEXX support, alongside a strong emphasis on ongoing CPD and career development.

Qualifications

• A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS.
• Experience in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
• A proactive approach to learning, with openness to feedback and development.
• Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality first opinion consultations, providing clear and compassionate communication to clients
• Perform routine and emergency surgical procedures in theatre
• Work up medical cases to a high clinical standard, including diagnostics and treatment planning
• Provide continuity of care and follow-up for ongoing cases
• Collaborate closely with the nursing team to ensure excellent patient care
• Maintain accurate and thorough clinical records
• Contribute to the positive team culture within the practice
