Job summary

Inspiring Vet Care, working with Vale Vets in Dursley, seeks a Veterinary Surgeon on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role balances a diverse caseload of surgery, medicine and consulting, with 30 hours per week over 3 days.

The position includes 1 in 8 full weekends, 1 in 8 Saturday mornings and a late shift (12pm-10pm) every fortnight, with TOIL for OO(H). You will join a forward-thinking team, delivering high‑quality patient and client care.

Qualifications

• A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS.
• Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
• A proactive approach to learning, with openness to feedback and development.
• Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• A passion for delivering excellent patient and client care
