Job summary

Vale Vets in Dursley is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon for a 12-month fixed term contract. The role involves a balanced caseload of surgery, medicine and consulting, with 30 hours over 3 days and 1 in 8 weekends. TOIL is provided for out-of-hours work, and the position offers up to £55,000 FTE.

You will work with a supportive team, maintaining high standards of patient and client care while developing your clinical interests within a modern hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Veterinary degree and registration with the RCVS (or eligibility).
• Experience in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine cases.
• Strong communication skills to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Proactive learning attitude and openness to feedback.
