A leading animal welfare charity in the West Midlands seeks a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to work in a supportive environment helping animals recover from cruelty and neglect. You will perform surgical procedures and collaborate with various RSPCA teams. The role offers professional development, 25 days of holiday, and a 35-hour workweek. A valid driving license and MRCVS registration are required.

Thisfull-time (35 hours per week) fixed-term position involves working directly with RSPCA Inspectors, Animal Centre staff, and other charities to assess and rehabilitate animals rescued from cruelty and neglect. You'll provide essential veterinary care and advice, contributing to their journey towards adoption.
About Newbrook Animal Hospital (Birmingham):
Located in a charming rural setting amidst 70 acres of countryside, Newbrook Animal Hospital offers excellent motorway access, just a 20-minute drive from central Birmingham. Our friendly and enthusiastic team comprises 11 Veterinary Surgeons, 22 RVNs, and 9 veterinary care assistants. We are passionate about personal development and fostering a thriving, supportive environment. This includes daily 15-minute clinical vet rounds (Monday-Friday) for case discussions and a weekly 15-minute Hospital meeting for general updates. We are well-equipped with separate cat, dog and small furries wards and a wide range of modern equipment.
