Job description

Step into a Practice That Truly Supports Your Growth

Are you a Veterinary Surgeon ready to be part of something more than just a job?

Join a practice where your development, wellbeing, and passion for veterinary care are genuinely prioritised.

This practice in Kidderminster is building something exciting—and wants you to be a part of it.

Our Practice

Our client’s practice is entering a dynamic phase of growth, led by a Practice Owner who brings a personal passion for development, both clinical and professional. From vet nurse to vet and now practice owner, their journey reflects the ethos they live by: investing in people, nurturing careers, and supporting the team at every step.

They are a close-knit team that’s grown together over the years. The senior RVNs, practice manager, and client care team have all progressed internally—proof of the supportive and inspiring environment that’s been built here.

  • No OOH or late evenings – consults finish half an hour before closing to give you time to wrap up without staying late.
  • Protected lunch breaks and flexible consult styles – your wellbeing and work-life balance are a real priority here.
  • A varied caseload including exotics, small furries, and dentistry, with clinical freedom encouraged.
  • Regular team huddles and catch-ups to share ideas and keep communication open and easy.

They are also an approved training practice and have a Vet GDP Advisor, so whether you're an experienced vet or a recent graduate, you’ll be fully supported to thrive.

Your Role
  • Deliver outstanding care across medical and surgical cases (a surgical bias is welcome but not required).
  • Work collaboratively with a team of 5 RVNs, 1 SVN, and a full support crew including VCA, Hygiene Technician and Pharmacy Assistant.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients and their pets.
  • Enjoy clinical freedom, supported by a leadership team who truly listen.
They are Looking For
  • RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon (open to both experienced vets and recent graduates).
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills.
  • Passionate about teamwork and personal development.
  • Minimum commitment of 1 in 4 Saturdays (9am–12pm), with no OOHs.
  • Full-time or part-time applicants welcome.
In Return they offer
  • Up to £75,000 salary (dependent on experience and hours).
  • Private health insurance.
  • Generous CPD allowance + funding towards certificates.
  • Birthday off, plus 5.6 weeks holiday rising to 6.6 weeks after 2 years.
  • Paid professional memberships (RCVS, BVA, VDS).
  • Visa sponsorship and relocation support.
  • Cycle to Work Scheme.
  • Access to the reward hub, wellbeing services, and mental health support.

If you're looking for a practice where your ideas matter, your growth is prioritised, and your passion is matched by your team, then they’d love to meet you.
