A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a confident, first-opinion GP Vet to join a close-knit, forward-thinking team in South Wales.
They are looking for someone who enjoys all aspects of general practice and would particularly welcome applications from those with a surgical interest or bias.
This is a well-established, multi-site small animal practice with four RCVS-accredited branches, all recently refurbished and equipped to a high standard.
Modern facilities including in-house blood machines, digital X-ray, dental X-ray, ultrasound, and laser therapy.
24-hour nurse-led inpatient care (Monday–Friday).
Clinical freedom with excellent internal support from experienced colleagues.
A strong, collaborative team of 12 vets, including certificate holders in Medicine & Radiology plus visiting specialists.
Surgical mentorship available from an AVP certificate holder for those keen to develop advanced surgical skills.

Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum (pro rata) – higher considered for surgical certificate holders or those working towards one.
Hours: Full-time (4-day week) or part-time considered.
Rota: 1:5 Saturdays and 1:6 inpatient-only on-call (Mon–Fri only, no nights or weekends).
Support: Dedicated night RVN on site.
Schedule: 8.45am start, last appointment at 6.15pm.
Appointments: 15 minutes.
