Key Duties

We are looking for a Vet to join the practice on a full-time basis. The position offers an excellent work-life balance with a 1:8 weekend rota, including Saturday and Sunday shifts. An additional 2 Saturday mornings are required during the 8-week rota. You will have time back in lieu after working weekends, with your regular day off during the week. There is no OOH or on-call work required for this position.

Package and Benefits

The practice offers an excellent overall package for the right Vet. Salary ranges between £35,000-£45,000, with potential for negotiation during the interview process. In addition to a competitive salary, you will enjoy an uncapped CPD allowance up to certificate level. The holiday entitlement is 34 days per annum. Registration fees for RCVS, VDS, and additional memberships are paid for.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

Ideally, we are looking for a Surgeon with 2 years of UK experience; however, less experienced Vets confident in routine surgeries will also be considered. You must be registered with the RCVS.
