About the Role

• The client is seeking an experienced and confident Veterinary Surgeon to join a supportive and collaborative team.
• This permanent, full-time role involves 40 hours per week over four days.
• Weekend duties are limited to one Saturday morning in six (8:30 am – 1:00 pm) and one full Saturday in six (8:30 am – 5:00 pm).
• There are no out-of-hours (OOH) responsibilities, ensuring a good work-life balance.

About the Practice

The practice is located in a market town setting with excellent transport links, just 15 minutes from Birmingham city centre and the countryside. Birmingham Airport is within a 30-minute drive. The practice operates across two sites and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including two surgical theatres with heated tables, digital x-ray, ultrasound at both locations, small and large endoscopes, orthopaedic air-powered tools, and a new laparoscopic spay kit.

About the Team

The team consists of nine Veterinary Surgeons, including a certificate holder in Ophthalmology and others pursuing certificates in Surgery, ECC, and Acupuncture. The caseload is varied, encompassing routine, advanced, and ECC cases. Services include orthopaedic surgery, laparoscopic procedures, soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology referrals, and more. The practice values case continuity and fostering strong client relationships.
