Kentdale Referrals in Milnthorpe, Cumbria, invites a board-certified Small Animal Surgeon or an approved residency candidate to join our established surgical team. You will work alongside Diplomates across soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, contributing to a varied referral caseload and shaping the future of our surgical service.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Small Animal Surgeon or completed residency with board exam plan.
• Experience in soft tissue and/or orthopaedic surgery preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills with referring vets.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of soft tissue and orthopaedic referral cases.
• Provide high standards of care for surgical inpatients.
• Support referring vets with clinical advice and out-of-hours support.
• Collaborate with the hospital team to manage routine and emergency referrals.
• Contribute to clinical discussions and ongoing development of the service.
• Participate in external CPD and case-based learning with partners.
